We always hear the term “renaissance man” but not often do we hear the phrase with regards to women. Alejandra personifies that archetype and is in fact, the modern-day renaissance woman.
With humble beginnings and emigrating from Mexico with her family at the early age of three, Alejandra has worked hard from day one and worn every hat in her arsenal with the utmost professionalism and strongest of work ethics.
She is a survivor
After a marriage at twenty, and the birth of her first child at twenty-one, she left an extremely abusive relationship while pregnant with her first daughter. With only her immediate family for support and her own willpower, she forged a new path, all in an effort to give her daughter’s the life they deeply deserved.
She is a thriver
With an incredible lust for life and adventure, Alejandra found new passions in deep sea scuba diving, fitness, and golf. Known throughout the golf community for her passion and style on the course, “Golf Mami” started her links journey at the age of thirty. Growing up in a tough environment, Alejandra was never afforded the luxury of learning the historically exclusive sport, however once she was introduced to the game- her perseverance kicked in. Within 7 years, Alejandra went from 45+ handicap to scratch and became 11x club champion at some of the most prestigious tracks in the country.
She is an adapter
Alejandra’s life since finding golf has not been without its struggles. After two years of getting into the game, she was diagnosed with a degenerative bone condition that often cripples her ability to be active. Committed to fighting through it daily, she continues to show people on and off the course that she is Wonder Woman. However, instead of the “lasso of truth,” she wields her five-iron.
She is a Nurturer
With an unrelenting zest for life, Alejandra continues to inspire, motivate, and encourage woman to lead fulfilled lives. Through her golf and travel as well as coaching, mentoring and philanthropic endeavors, Alejandra utilizes her integrity and authenticity toward building a true support system for women, children and the golf community. This the heart and soul of MAMI UNLIMITED.
